How can I begin to thank Melina Giandomenico, Artistic Director of AGORi Jewels, for the fabulous day we spent in her company on Wednesday, November 30?
My colleague Lisa Pacino-Leone and I were thrilled to welcome Melina, who flew in from Rome especially for our private GerardRiveron event. More than 60 “by invitation” customers and friends gathered at the Algonquin Club of Boston, where Melina showcased her spectacular AGORi collections, available exclusively in the U.S.at Gerard Riveron…Curator of Jewelry & Art.
In Sapphire Blue
As might befit a Fine Jewelry artistic director, Melina arrived wearing an elegant sapphire blue velvet “Le Smoking,” the epitome of European chic. She proceeded to charm our guests throughout the day, personally escorting them to our jewelry showcases, where they were invited to try on AGORi bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings.
A Woman of Many Talents
In one of life’s little surprises, we were all treated to an impromptu performance by our guest of honor, who sang “The House of the Rising Sun” accompanied by Kemp Harris at the piano. It was indicative of the intimate nature of our private preview events…totally unexpected and at the same time très charmante.
Customers loved AGORi’s color combinations, the manufacturing details, the price range, and some of the new, smaller items like the cute gold chain bracelets, with a center motif of a butterfly, a bow, a frog, or an adorable bear set with diamonds.
As I accompanied Melina to the airport for her flight back to Rome, she ‘secretly’ told me that she was planning to design a special bracelet for the savevenice.org. Stay tuned!
Thank you again, Melina, for a wonderful day…from all your new friends in the Boston area…and all those who visit your beautiful collections on GerardRiveron.com.
